Second World Summit For Social Development
4-6 November 2025 Doha - Qatar

The Institute of International Peace Leaders (IIPL) is proud to announce the successful participation of its international delegation and myself Nafiou Abdoulaye KOUKOURA as a country Director for TOGO in WEST AFRICA.

The delegation attended and engaged actively in the Second World Summit for Social Development, held at the Qatar National Convention Centre, Doha, Qatar, from 4 to 6 November 2025. The Summit convened under the auspices of the United Nations and the State of Qatar and brought together representatives from governments, international organisations, youth, civil society and business sectors to advance social development, address inequality, promote decent work, and recommit to the global 2030 Agenda.
an exceptional platform which brought together key stakeholders from around the world, bridging governments, civil society, youth and the private sector, offering hope and direction for accelerated social progress.
I believe that the Summit has opened new avenues of collaboration and has set a robust foundation for advancing the social dimension of sustainable development. The IIPL delegation returns energized, committed to contributing to the implementation of the vision set out in Doha—with particular focus on youth empowerment, climate-resilient development and peace-building through inclusive social policies.

For the record, the Summit was attended by more than 8,000 participants representing Member States, the United Nations system, youth constituencies, civil society, academia and the private sector.

I look forward to translating the outcomes of Doha into concrete programmes and partnerships under the leadership of IIPL, and invite all our global partners to join hands in turning commitments into action.
